Our History

From then to Now

From then to Now

Founded in 1926 in the Horsham area of Sussex, the group was originally named The Society of Sussex Wealdmen and used to walk monthly on a Sunday. The walk usually began with a train journey from Horsham, sometimes into the North Downs, often to the coast. the walks were well-attended by men and women alike.
